Nice project! Rusty, when you get all the patchwork done on the underside do you usually take a sandblaster to it then hammer on a few coats of epoxy and bedliner? You must battle with flash rusting from all the humidity down there I bet. Will the car see slapper bars or ladder bars? I like the subframe connectors-you're not messing around. We made some similar ones for my Son's Nova and they ran through the rear floor as well-if I did it again I think I would have raised the floor in that area. We ended up filling the void around the connectors with carpet padding so the carpet would sit OK.

Next day with have flash rusting sometimes. Yes we will move it outside sand blast than epoxy and yes bedliner.

Caltracs with a 9" rear from a Bronco since it is about an inch narrower than this

Spit monos and caltracs-can't beat the simplicity and very proven. Are you going to put a crossbar in for the upper shock mounts? 28spline axles or upgrade to 31's? I like the rear ride height it has now-perfect IMO!

Stock upper shock mounts. At this time I don't have any axles but when the time comes they will be 31. It will sit low when we are done I have done the Shelby drop to the front and it will have Opentracker roller spring perches and control arms.

If you are working on a Fairlane make sure you remove all the dirt in the front crossmember before you epoxy prime. Especially if it's from Georgia. It was packed solid.

Corrected post.... Rusty, I looked at the color you have on the fender and got it confused with Shine's thread on the shop truck-looks like the same color?
