    700 w&g shelf life

It will be fine. I use left over stuff all the time. You can tell if it's working as soon as you spray it on and wipe it off.

    1968 Plymouth GTX

I waited for a long time for my YearOne window channel order to arrive. After a couple of weeks they told me it was lost in shipment so they sent out another order which I got in a few days. Today I installed the front window channel guide and the new rear window seal on the rear channel...

    Solid Head Rivet Installation

Yes, that looks like a tool that would do the job but $150 to install 4 little rivets is more than I want to spend.

    Solid Head Rivet Installation

My window channel seals came with small rivets similar to these: I am want to install them without having to spend a bunch of money on a tool I'll probably only use one time. Will an air chisel with a blunt end work to install these? My thinking its to place to the bottom of the channel on a...

Yes Ms.Spears, I did it again!!!! Lol

I generally shoot 2 coats of epoxy on bare metal. Then when cured lightly block sand it. This will reveal all the highs and lows early in the process. Any metal work can be done and another coat of epoxy, followed by 3 coats of 2k build primer.

    Urethane Primer Questions

Open the activator and look for an signs of crystalizing. If none, it is probably fine. I use older stuff all the time but I am careful to keep the containers closed tightly. If you want to check it out shoot a couple of coats on a test panel. By the way, all I have ever used is regular 2K...

    Epoxy Primer makes a sealer?

I normally reduce the epoxy by 50% (1:1:1) when using as a sealer. A decent compressor is not an option if you plan on painting vehicles. Using a tip size smaller than recommended for the product will also have a negative effect.

    polisher/buffer

I would recommend getting a name brand that will be easy to resell when you're finished. The one below is what I use and it has a variable speed trigger as well as the dial to set maximum speed.

    Filler pin holes

Put some dry guide coat on there and then start block sanding. Most, if not all, of what you see will be gone once the guide coat as been removed.

    Ceramic products

I have two motorcycles in my garage each having been professionally ceramic coated. Plus my 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee was done shortly after we bought about a year ago. The difference is amazing as a simple wash and rinse, then wipe it down with a microfiber towel brings back the shine. This...

Info/help needed on Cut and Buff

I haven't tried the ACA products but have had good success with the Meguiars M-100 Professional compound and twisted wool pad. As Chris and others have stated, a rotary buffer is what you need. I purchased a DeWalt 7" with a variable speed trigger which I like because it allows me to start out...
