Thought I got a good deal on a Neiko rotary air polisher. Not so much... The sellers picture clearly shows a Neiko brand polisher. It came in a box with the brand infinity marked on the outside. Hooked it up to air and it was leaking from the pipe threads for the quick connector. Turns out the pipe threads were not deep enough so I removed the bushing from the polisher. It had straight threads and no gasket or o-ring, just some hardened sealer. I fixed the threads and added an O-ring that I had. I pull the trigger. Dirty oil everywhere! Fortunately I wasn't anywhere near the booth. After I clean myself and the area up I took it outside to run most of the oil out of it. Then I ran 2 or 3 ounces of 710 through it and ran it dry. After that another rinse with the 710. I'm so upset I haven't touched it in weeks.
I think I may just take it completely apart and clean it as if it was a spray gun. I imagine I need to at least give it a couple of drops of oil. Just the thought of adding oil makes me nervous.
