Wiping panels

I don't know if I'm being too anal or what, but this does not seem adequate to me, for removing contaminants using wipes. He wiped 75% of the bumper with the same rag surface.

Seems like he spread the solvent all over the bumper cover and by the time he used a clean wipe it evaporated. Hard to tell from the video how slow or fast the slovent was.
That would never work with a naptha based WGR and certainly not with SPI waterbased WGR. I wouldn't even push it that far with a mineral spirit WGR which is slower. Smaller sections need to be picked up (wiped dry) while the surface is still wet.
I am anal about surface cleaning....fish eyes mean you didn't get it all.

I normally do bumpers like that in three overlapping sections, side, center, side. If it's really hot, we might split the center into two halves as well. What that guy did might be enough to remove some sanding residue, but if any significant contaminants were present it obviously wasn't enough.

I like to spray mine on then wipe it off. Solvent or Alcohol removers alike.
