Which DeKup adaper to use?

Does anyone know which DeKup adapter to use for a Sata Jet RP Digital 2? There seems to be some confusion if I should use part number DCP-10 or DCP-501. I call Devilbiss and they said they didn't have a listing for a Sata Jet RP Digital 2. I told them the box and all the paperwork the gun came with calls it a Sata Jet RP Digital 2. Devilbiss wants me to give them the cap number of the gun. I don't know why it doesn't screw into the cap. I told them I would call them back with that number when I get home. They ask me if I knew the 3M PPS number and they could cross reference it. I called 3M and they couldn't decide if it was their #9 or their #40 adapter. I know this an older gun but I bought it in the box never used. I'm just a old guy with a new gun trying to put a system together and need some help. Thanks!
 
3m PPS adapter would be #40. Thats how it is on my NR2000 digital, which is pretty much the same as far as how the adapter or cup mounts.

I don't think devilbiss makes a direct adapter for a sata. You have to insert a brass sleeve into the gun in which the dekup adapter screws into. Atleast that is the was last time I used the dekups.
 
Jeremyb - On auto bodytoolmart.com the DCP-10 is listed to use for your NR2000 which would be a direct screw in. I think my problem is they don't have a listing for the Sata Jet RP Digital 2. I think the non digital gun in the model I have is the RP 2000 but I'm not sure.
 
Got home and called Devilbiss back about the cap number. The number they was looking for was 2000, 3000, ect. My air cap on my Sata Jet Digital 2 only says 1.3 and the name Sata. That is the same way it is on my Sata Jet RP non digital it only says 1.4 and the name Sata. Devilbiss didn't know what to tell me. They want me to call them back when I find out which adapter works. Go figure. The same alum. cup works on both my guns.
 
old sarge - That's is where the confusion comes in both Devilbiss and 3M doesn't know which one fits. I just bought the DCP-10 on ebay for 12 bucks. I believe this is the one that will work. If it doesn't I'll throw it out and get the other one.
 
Look at your gun...does it have threads in the top where the cup goes, or is it smoothing looking to accept that #40 pps adapter...
 
Just got the DCP-10 adapter in the mail today. I tried it and it fits both the Sata Jet RP Digital 2 and the Sata Jet RP spray guns. Now I just need to get the DeKup 9 oz and 24 oz cup and lids. Does anyone know who has the best prices?
 
My sata 3000 and jet 90 takes the #10 but you need the quarter turn fitting to go in the 3000 first. The Jet90 is the old screw in style. TCP Global is the last place I bought my liners and such.
