I've looked around quite a bit and can't get a clear answer on this. I have a Bronco fiberglass top that will be getting raptorliner next weekend. Before that, I need to patch a small area(half-dollar sized) where the gel coat is chipped.
After prepping, can I just put body filler right over the exposed fiberglass, or should I apply a sealer coat of epoxy first? It will get a coat of sealer over the filler regardless, but I'm hoping I could do without it before applying the filler.
