B Bob Hollinshead Aug 9, 2011 #2 no need for sanding if the epoxy is 1-3 days old, after than just scuff it with some 180 and you'll be golden. The filler pretty much welds itself to the epoxy when applied during the first few days.

S strum456 Oldtimer Aug 10, 2011 #4 I think that would be a good choice, because 180 is good for blocking primer. You will need some anyway!

jcclark Oldtimer Aug 10, 2011 #5 A lot of people just use a red Scotchbrite pad. It works real good on aged epoxy.
