Ok so I have my original 93 Silverado plastic grill face. It has these mesh plastic grill inserts. It looks like they were applied with some kind of semi-flex sealant .. Would like to use something that is maybe not permanent so if I ever have to remove the mesh inserts I can.. Can't get these inserts or the facia anymore so don't want to damage stuff and It makes it way easier to paint it.. These popped of really easy when I took it apart. Some tabs were not even connected anymore. Window urethane maybe?? It was just globed on there all around the tabs.. I thought of some Fusor 143, but it would take a lot of that do it... Could get expensive.. Any thoughts?? The mesh parts are floaters if that matters ..

I'd try the hot glue sticks made for use in paintless dent repair. My only paintless dent repair experience is watching youtube videos to get an idea of how its done, but its obvious that the glue has to be strong to hold while moving metal. A pack of 10 sticks is about $12 on Amazon, so its cheap enough to try without breaking the bank. This may be the same product as AAE mentioned up above, but I don't know the terminology. I'd say the hobby type glue sticks that my wife thinks will glue anything to anything wouldn't hold for very long.

Thinking outside of the box....................... I would two part epoxy some plastic bolts to the backside of the grill, drill out the existing plastic mesh covers to slip over the new plastic bolts, and fasten with a plastic nut. You can find these at Autozone, O'Reilly Auto Parts or even your local hardware store. I'd find something with the flat head, even a plastic counter sunk screw would work.
