Using stir sticks to block sand

I've used them a lot in the past, very little though since I discovered Durablock's. The way I used them was to take 2 good ones and cut the end with a dip in it off and then wrap them with tape being careful not to overlap the tape. They end up being about 10 inches long and work good, especially with filler.

Dura block makes one thats the same size as a paint stuck just a bit thicker its my favorite block

Will try that too. Also picked up a handful of the really thick stir sticks from Lowe's. Just messing around and trying different things. Thanks.
