Though this thread seems to be at its end, i just want to add some info in here for future lurkers- The activators contain resins as well, not just the clear itself. If you under activate the product you are killing the solids content (watering it down) along with creating other issues such as curing, longevity, repair-ability, buff-ability etc. The activators are designed specifically for the clear they are being used in, which is why they cannot be used with other clears, including our own. It is also why customers are typically told to strip the product if it has been activated incorrectly.
