Universal clear dry to wet sand

Ok, I just put down 2 coats of universal clear over some flames. I decided not to put any additional coats down because I want to sand down the lines from the flames and then apply more clear. How long should I wait to wet sand. 65 deg.

i am over cautious and like to cure my clear in the sun / outside for uv exposure for a couple hours before a recoat, insuring all solvents gas out and no problems pop up...

Thanks can I recoat then or does it need 2 days?
If you only have two coats on I wouldn't be uncomfortable with overnight then sand and reshoot. The open time on Universal to reclear without sanding is about 24 hrs. If you sand it no problem waiting longer. I like the idea of spraying a flow coat within the 24 hour window. I would think you get a better bond (mechanical and chemical) JMO.

Well since there wasnt any sunshine in the forecast, nothing but rain for the next 3 days I decided it would be better to clear it before the rain came. It was a 24 hr. period. This is the first time I used universal clear, Wow I love this stuff!
