To thin or not

Booth is ready, its time to finally do this. Mornings are nice and cool, low humidity. My car has sat in epoxy for at least a year. Mt paint calls for 600-800wet for surface prep. I know I need to spray new epoxy but if I sand down to the required grit and spray a reduced coat of epoxy does that count as a new coat or should I sand down, spray the activated epoxy wait and then spray a reduced coat?

I can't believe the time is finally here and my bench is full of stuff ready to go
