Steering Wheel - Dolphin Glaze?

I am refurbishing an acrylic/plastic type steering wheel. There are no cracks but I'm looking to smooth out little small divots/imperfections. I've sanded, cleaned, and applied a couple coats of epoxy primer.
I have Dolphin Glaze and thought it may work in this application.
I have referbed cracked wheels before with 2 part epoxy but wouldn't think that would adhere as good in shallow spots.
Any thoughts on this or another product?

I ended up spraying several coats of 2K primer which filled small defects. I then applied Dolphin Glaze in the deeper areas and sanded smooth.
The steering wheel came out really nice after base and clear coat.
