Spraying jambs and other tough to get area's?

I hope to spray the jambs on the truck in the next couple days and plan on using my lph400. I think I should crank the fan down for a narrow pattern and also crank the fluid in to accommodate the fan. Would I also reduce the air pressure at the gun. Or am I totally wrong on this?
I hope to get epoxy and color on them in the next two days, after that the outside paint booth will be closed for the winter. :(

I panel paint everything so I paint jambs same time as the large panel areas. That’s why I don’t adjust gun settings for jambs.

Yes, just turn the fluid, fan down as you test spray on some masking paper till you get a pattern size your comfortable with but as Don said, leave your air psig at normal say 18-20#,fluid at 1 1/4 open, fan about 1/2 open from closed depending on the paint used to start.
What masking paper is good for instead of the Work.
Painter's who spray a lot are comfortable with this and basically change nothing but their "touch" on a full size gun which only comes from Experience.
Set your distance away around 5-6" and spray a full trigger pull for about 1 second and release and adjust to a good cigar pattern with full coverage. Fan determines the size, Fluid the coverage.
Piece of cake.
