rotary vs. dual action buffer

I went to get some new brushes for my Dewalt rotary buffer, and noticed some dual action polishers. My jobber that I go to, where I buy supplies I can't get from SPI sells a Meguires D/A buffer..any good? I have always used the rotary Dewalt. Any advantages to using a dual action polisher?

Those meguires and porter cable are only suited for polishing. You can't put any pressure on it without the pad stopping. I have a Flex dual action and love it. I only use the Dewalt on the harder clears. The Flex spins opposite of the rotary and takes some getting use to. I bought a grit guard pad washer and love it. My pads stay clean.
