Is it true that red makes a car easier to sell than other colors? I know if the top goes down the price goes up is a true adage, but have no idea to the truth behind resale red.
IMO, that phrase is about changing a cars color to one that would attract more buyers, and when that phrase was coined, red was the most popular color. Today, I think it would depend on the car, because there are some fabulous colors today to compete against, but for older original cars----its hard to beat resale red. Nice black job on a straight car would be my choice.
