about a week between . just one of those never knows i'm leaning towards not cleaning well enough. guess i will be cleaning twice before clear from now on. but i'm close to being done with both cars. hopefully be doing ss colors on early vettes from now on.

When Bob and I talked about this after it happened to me, all that we could come up with is that the red die from the scotchbrite got impregnated into the clear somehow. I washed the car very well. I was over everything with 700 2x after I washed it. Next time, the only thing I would do differently, is use gray scotchbright by a reputable manufacturer.

We learn, and learn, and learn some more. I think this type of work is a constant learning cycle when you're constantly looking for perfection. A lot of info gets shared here-more than any other P&B forum I've seen. Shine, time to did a little deeper from within and get it corrected and move on. Been there... redo work always sucks.

You can say that again, always learning new things when you are striving for the best possible finish.

I scew up everytime I touch a gun, but I rarely make the same mistake twice which is a good thing! I just seem to always find new mistakes to make!
