production clear vs. euro clear

I've been using the 2.1 production clear for all my small jobs and repairs. After seeing that there is now fast and slow activators for the regular euro (5000) I'm thinking about giving it a try for this type of work.

Those that have used both.....what are the pros and cons between them? Obviously the price is lower with the 2.1 production.....just trying to figure out where these 2 stand up beside each other. The 2.1 production just a lower solids?

Jeremy, I have sprayed both - About a gallon of the 2.1 Production and several gals. of the 5000 Euro. The Euro for me is a little easier to match a factory peel with. The 2.1 Prod tends to flow a little longer so you have to spray the first coat a little rough then the second more wet to match peel. If you want glass smooth off the gun, the 2.1 Prod is hard to beat. But with the new fast and slow activators the Euro for me gives the painter more choices. When you figure out the sprayable per quart, I think it ends up being a wash on cost when you factor in reducer.

Don't tell anyone, but the Euro 5000 is almost exactly the same price per ounce mixed 4:1:1.5 if you account for the reducer.

Yep,,what Rodman and Crash said,,ive used both,I think i like the Euro best though
