Priming Pre/Prep

When sheet metal has been stripped to bare metal and is sitting in shop ready for epoxy primer, how do you clean metal prior to spraying epoxy primer? Truck is being stored in dry shop until I can shoot the epoxy.

I never strip a panel without knowing it can be primed immediately or next day at worst. Clean steel begins oxidizing as soon as it is exposed to air, slower in dry air, faster in humid air. If it sits too long, it needs to be sanded or lightly blasted again to remove the thin film of oxidation that has formed. I think SPI #700 works even better than soap and water, it is the ideal product to remove contaminants from bare metal.
