i have a 79 trans am. I plan to redo the t-top trim as it is faded and flaking off. it is the exterior metal around the glass on the outside of the t-top. i am going to paint it black spi epoxy. I am going to do the same thing with the chrome window trim. i want to paint it black using the spi black epoxy.
could you guys suggest how to prep the metal so that it will be smooth when sprayed with the epoxy so the sanding scratches wont show
