Pouring Thinners and reducers

From this type can when it's full or near full, how do you do it? I think I got more in my bench than in the mixing cup? Is there a screw on spot available somewhere?

screw cap to the top when you are pouring to let the air in as solvent leaves, basically upside down of how you think to pour it.

Besides pouring with the opening up high instead of low, there are cheap screw on funnels at home or paint store for less than $1.00. I don't usually need unless filling a small bottle from gallon though.

Yeah, what those guys said! I have the best luck holding the can so the smallest dimension is actually on the right and left when pouring, with the spout oriented as high as possible. It looks really wrong, but works right.

Agreed. The way that works is the opposite of what are doing. Used to have the same problem!

I do pour spout "up", but when the gallon is full, or close to full, the material starts to pour put when you only have the can at 20-30 degrees. I like the leave the cap on idea, I was also thinking of using an old cap to make a spout. I looked for the screw on funnels but haven't found any yet.
