Polishing compound and bonnet to use

I am getting ready to start buffing my week old Euro, this is what I have:
3m "finesse it ll finishing material" a white wool bonnet and a yellow wool bonnet using the Makita polisher.

Thoughts?
Do I have the correct materials?

If I remember correctly, finesse it is a white-colored compound that isn't too aggressive. It's rather old-school but should work ok. You will prolly wanna start with a more aggressive cutting compound if you wanna use the "perfect it 2 3m system" the cutting compoud in the 3m perfect it 2 works well, but I have bee lately using Meguier's 105 cutting compound followed by 205, and then some #3 machine glaze. There are several compounds out there and pads as well. Find a system that works well for you, and practice with it. Some like presta, others 3m, other like norton and so on...I have used several and have gotten great results with most.

Similar to what I do here. Megs 105 on a twisted wool pad, 205 on a Lake County CCS white pad, followed with Menzerna 85RD on a CCS grey pad.

You know I heard that mixing products from different compound manufacturers is not good and could effect the long term durability of your buffer LOL!!!

I'm getting excellent reviews from folks using the Sungold Eclipse Cutting creme and polish using the Sungold blended wool and foam pads.
