Paint recommendations for Differentials/suspensions on Jeep

Hiya Folks,
I used SPI to paint my Jeep summer before last. First time doing such a project and I am thrilled with how it turned out. Well, since I did things backwards, I'm not looking at an engine swap, new axles, and re-doing the suspension. I'm wondering what is recommended for painting the differentials and suspension? Keeping in mind this will be driven offroad pretty hard so I'm leaning towards something that a) has good rust protection and b) is easy to repair. No doubt it will get scratched and beat up. I was planning to start out with SPI's epoxy but not sure what to use after that. Thanks very much.

The cured epoxy is pretty tough stuff from my experience. Not sure what others will recommend so I'll be waiting for their replies as well.

Epoxy only. I would spray your last coat with some medium reducer in it, that way it sprays more flat. Left unreduced, it will get pretty shiney, and show all the mud/scratches.

Thanks. I wondered how it'll hold up against the UV? At the end of the day however, it probably doesn't matter all that much given the application. Thanks much!

I read your mind correctly then. I have also heard of using the bed liner for off road vehicles. I havent used it that way though. I epoxy anything around our farm that doesnt walk on its own, and it holds up very well when cured.
