Has anyone used a product called nu-metal. I'm trying to salvage a badly corroded windshield frame for my 37 Ford project. It is in too bad a shape to be re-chromed but I want it to look chromed. There are powder coatings that are nearly indistinguishable from chrome. but the filler must withstand 400' F while baking on the coating. The product suggested by the powder coater was nu-metal. I would like to hear from anyone who has used this or done something similar to be powder coated. What kind of results have you seen.?
