New fiberglass hood how to cure

Just got a new high quality fiberglass hood in. The prep instructions want it cured at 140 deg for 1 hour or in the sun for 5 days . Problem is no bake booth and no sun also still cold outside . The hood is mounted and fitted lines up nice. Also if I have to wait for sun should I paint it black to absorb the rays better ?, it's white now. Thanks
 
sure, best bet is to prep it and coat it in black epoxy primer. let it cure and get as hot as possible. if you have to wait then you have to wait. always post cure glass.
