Haven't sprayed with it yet. I'm amazed how tiny it is. I really need to figure out how to clean my guns better so it stays pristine. I love the look of a clean gun.

Yes they are small. They suit me well. I feel at home with them. I see you also have a Sagola 4500…I have one as well. They are a great clear gun.

I like the Sagola, especially how few parts it has and how easy to clean it is. As an inexperienced painter, I'm not sure I have it dialed in optimally, and it doesn't seem like many guys are using it for me to confirm my settings.

In any case the Finishline has a problem that I can't find, and I thought it was prudent to have at least two functioning full size guns on hand. Based on DHutton01, Crashtech and some other guys results with the IWATA, and the consensus of the set up for optimal spraying, it seemed like a good choice.

Which Finishline do you have, the FLG-4 or FLG-5?

I have a Finishline FLG-5 that I use to spray SPI epoxy with and it's worked well for me.

It's different for sure.
I own 6.
2-LPH-400,1-LPH-80,3 Airbrush's.
Easy to clean, easy to operate, and the Only gun mechanical issues EVER in 15 Years was from my own stupidity.

First thing you need to do is get rid of those Choke Valve air adjusters.....
Worst 'thing' you can put on an HVLP spray gun.
Get the Proper adjustable Regulator or as I do,set the wall regulator at the paint hose connection with a removable Tee/gauge adapter.
You will be spraying at More psig than the "recommended factory setting". We ALL do.... Usually Mid 20's

That will work as you have a gauge at the Gun Inlet with the trigger fully pulled to know if the wall psig is right.
Just that some of those valves have smaller openings at their Seat of the valve mechanism and you want ALL the CFM you can get.
Their a little slower than a Sata so if your a run and gun painter, you might want to slow down a shade.
