Mixing machine

A friend called and asked if I wanted this and for the price of $0 I couldn't turn it down.

Looks like Dimension? If so, do yourself a favor and give the metallic toners to somebody with a solvent recycler, even if you get them to lay down without stripes, they will mottle like crazy as soon as you hit them with clear. BUT, I have to say that when made with the the "D5" mixing resin DM622, it makes a decent single stage urethane in solid colors. I did several nice paint jobs by putting their 5020 clear, which uses the same hardener, wet-on-wet over D5 Dimension Pro single stage, then sanding and re-clearing with the good stuff (SPI, of course!).

Pewter is kinda pain to get to lay right but most others haven't bein too bad, solid colors are good. I am hoping to step up to pro base later but for the high cost of free I'm happy as a pig in mud. I've bein spraying dimensions for about 10 years and aware of its problems but most colors are good and I have a good relationship with the local supplier. Everything else, primer and clear, cleaner will be spi of course.
