Here's my problem...
I cleaned a fender to bare metal, I cut out a small section of rust, welded in a patch panel. The patch is at a slight angle in, every thing was looking good and ready for epoxy. I shot the two coats of SPI Epoxy and laid down some filler, sanded, topped with another coat of epoxy. I started going over entire fender with glaze for some small imperfections and found a slight low spot. What is the thickest the glaze should be. Should I go back a step and use regular filler? should I sand back to other filler?
Got long winded a while ago so i'll shut it now!

I think most poly glazes recomend a maximum thickness of 1/8" and that goes for most fillers, either product will work fine.

As Bob pointed out, either product would work for that low spot.

Since the question indicates that you may be relatively new at this, I will also recommend another product, a hammer. If you have access to the back side, try taping out the metal in the area of the low spot.

Yes, thought of the hammer as well. I was afraid the filler would chip, crack or loosen and I would be starting all over again.

If it is much of a dent, the filler in that area probably wil crack, but the epoxy under it will be just fine. I'd hammer it out, get down to epoxy and skim that area again. It wont take much longer to do a way better job.
