iwatta paint guns.

Sata5

Hello everyone.I'm new to spi.I have sprayed it about six times now and I love it.I am a professional painter since 1994.I am a die hard sata fan.I'm checking to see

what everybody thinks about the iwatta supernova hybrid as clear gun.I have been hearing that ikt blows sata rp guns away.Any input?

I think that is all a matter of personal preference. As far as Iwata spray guns "blowing sata rp guns away" I am not sure they would be that much better. Some guys like the feel of the handle better on a sata, over a Iwata. I prefer the sata myself, but I have only sprayed with one Iwata the LPH400. I have heard the super nova is a great gun and it looks like it would be a comfortable gun in the hand. I'd be curious to hear what others think between the comparison. I thought the super nova and hybrid were two separate guns. The hybrid is suppose to be a faster gun than the super nova for production type environments. I see places like amazon call the gun they are selling a hybrid super nova.

With my large paw, the Iwata handle fits better than the SATA. Everyone is different, find a demo gun and try it out is your best bet.

Anest Iwata now has the two LS400 Supernovas, one with gold tip for colors and silver tip for clears. They also have a Supernova Hybrid that sprays the product with diferent atomization, see http://anestiwata.com/product/ls400h/ for more information (I have not sold one of these yet and don't know anyone that used on yet)
