Intercoat and Silver

I am getting close to laying some color out on my current project. There are several panels that are going to be getting some striping which will be painted on. The car is going to be a bright silver(Gm color). Now the shell itself will have no striping so I am going to base and clear that as normal. The doors, front nose, and spoiler will all have striping on them, so my plan was to base them with silver and then intercoat them so I could hang the panles on the car, tape up my stripes, remove and paint the stripes and clear. The stripes are going to have a carbon fiber effect and will take abit to lay out.

Will the intercoat possibly change the color of the silver? Or does it set up 100% clear?

100% clear-no color change, and don't worry if it looks a little cloudy in the can or in the mixing cup-it will be perfect when sprayed. Go easy with it on the first coat so you don't move the flakes around making it mottle.
