How Deep with 1000 grit paper?

After taking down 95% of the orange peel there are still some random speckles of clear present. Should I continue with the 1000 grit until all are completely gone or graduate to 1200? I'm concerned that additional wet sanding with 1000 will reduce my clear where sanding is not needed. These are some random speckles and not concentrated.

Applied four coats of UV clear.
 
With 4 coats of clear on the car, you should be fine taking everything out with 1000, unless it is a piece of trash that is obviously really deep.
