Help with choosing clear coat

Euro is all I have been using for the last 5 or 6 years. I've used universal on occasion, but mostly Euro now. I had a car come back for some repairs a few months ago that I painted back in 2019. I noticed some primer/bodywork shrinkage on one part of the car. I just buzzed it with 1500/2000 and it buffed out like nothing, so I guess I am kind of unclear about the whole buffing window deal.

If I remember correctly, recently Barry said he buffed on a well aged Euro and was surprised at the buffability.

As Chris stated earlier, any of the clears can be buffed if the proper techniques are followed.
I also mainly use and like the Euro clear and yes it is more scratch resistant. My understanding is that the softer clears can tend to dull with repeated washing if an aggressive sponge or cloth is used. Euro will stand up to that much better.

@ct71rr Being you are from Massachusetts, you want to use Euro 2020 not Euro 2.1 because Euro 2020 is a wicked pissah.:) ( I lived in Duxbury from 9 till I was 15) For the rest of you that means very awesome.

While we are on the topic, what about gloss level comparisons...Probably "about" the same for each....

Euro is very nice. Has a good gloss. I've shot a lot of it when I was still doing collision. That being said out of the gun I think Universal is about the glossiest I've seen. Either would work well. Like I said earlier Euro is my recommendation to anyone new to this. It sprays nice and lays out nicely. Universal is a bit harder for a novice to spray. JMO.
