Gun Tip For SPI Reg High Build

Hey friends, I will be spraying some SPI Reg high build primer and wondering if my Devilbiss FLG 5 with a 1.8 tip will be adequate? The TDS says 1.8-2.5 tip which puts my gun on the low side. Comments please!

Well it's either 2k primer or it's high build priner. Either way 1.8 will do. 2 0 will do better

It's okay to put a little reducer in it if you need to.

I've shot regular 2K through devilbiss starting line with 1.8 tip, unreduced. Worked fine.

It will have no problems with that 1.8 tip. I spray the 2k regular with my FLG3 1.8.

How do you like your Devilbiss FLG-5, have you used it much?

I’ve not used it yet. I’ve read good things about before I bought it though. Gunman on YouTube highly recommends it. I’ll keep you advised.
