Freakin' ospho

Decided to try using ospho on some shallow pits, which worked pretty well (got all the black out, nice and shiny).

Put plastic all around area, trying to be very careful. Cleaning up and find I had a couple drops land beyond plastic apparently when I was scrubbing.

What's the best way to recover from this? Won't be using it again I don't think.

Thanks as always.

I use Phoso for rust treatment. You simply need to apply more to those areas and before it dries, wash it with soapy water to neutralize any residual acid. Blow it dry with compressed air and then clean with W&G remover, let flash and your good to go with epoxy primer.

Thanks, sort of figured that was best way to go. Figured it wouldn't have any negative effect on the epoxy but would still need to be neutralized.

It hit filler in a couple places, think I'll sand it off and apply another layer.

Absolutely !!!

That's what I would do if faced with that situation.
