For those who use epoxy only from bare metal to paint prep-

How are you scuffing the epoxy in between coats, how do you block? In other words, do you wetsand everything, or ?

Wetsand for me. It just cuts better especially within a day or two.

Dry sand with 150 just enough to identify areas that need filler, then fill and finish with 150, reprime with 2 coats of epoxy, dry block with 220, 320, and red scuff pads, reprime with one or two coats of epoxy, wait one day, prime with urethane primer.

Im getting really good results dry sanding the epoxy, its like using a guide coat without the guide coat. Not sure how that works when you wet sand. How do you know when to stop. If the epoxy primer blocks out really nice, do you still need to use the urethane primer before base/clear? I had planned on 2K Highbuild but after reading some threads on high build, Im thinking I do not want high build on epxoy primer that is blocking out really nice.
