Had a customer come to me to paint his bronco, this ended up being a full restoration, quarters, some rust here and there, overall in good shape
I sanded to bare with 80 grit, sprayed with SPI gray epoxy
Did body work, then sprayed with SPI 2k primer. Block sanded, then sprayed a second
Sealed with SPI epoxy, wet sanded with 600 (block) then sprayed with Standox in ford Ruby red and ignot silver
Sprayed 4 coats of SPI universal clear, then wet sanded and buffed with 2000 grit, then 3000 trizact and buffed with lake country and 3m perfect it
I use to only shoot dupont color and PPG 2021 clear, I really liked the SPI clear and primers, all awsome. This is now my primary source for cars I paint.
