Evercoat Fibertech Question

Hey friends, read something the other day on Evercoat Fibertech and would like to know your thoughts. I put all my fillers over epoxy but read the other day somewhere that with this product it's not necessary and even more, not recommended. Recomendations please!

Fiber Tech is fine on bare SMC or fiberglass. If one was to use it on metal (why?) then the metal should have epoxy first.

I used it on all my fiberglass body parts for my Mustang Elenor. It doesn’t sand as easy as filler.
