Epoxy over Epoxy?

I was just curious to know if I wanted to change or go from the gray epoxy to the black epoxy is that going to be a problem as far as adhesion? After gray epoxy has dried of course.
Or is it as easy as sanding with 180 grit then wiping with waterborne Wax and Grease remover and shooting again?
 
exactly as chad said unless it is just a light seal coat you had put on. when it comes to spi epoxy, colors don't matter mix them all together if you want. the black does have a uv blocker in it and if you mix them you will notice the black will always settle out on top. no big deal its just the tint in it
