Epoxy before/after Slick Sand or Both

I'm done with my bodywork (probably not but.....) and am moving to the next step of a couple of coats of Slick Sand. My question is.....should I seal the body filler with a layer of epoxy before going over it with slick sand (there is some bare metal showing). And should I then seal the Slick Sand with some more epoxy before the 2k primer and top coat? Thanks for your insight.
 
Bare metal needs epoxy before anything IMO, if you have bare metal showing in a lot of areas you may want to epoxy it all. There's no real need to epoxy over the poly before the 2K urethane is applied
 
yes i agree. epoxy the bare metal spots BUT be sure to let any fresh epoxy cure for 24 hrs or so before applying poly primer over it.
