Eagle and 3M sanding before buffing

I been reading a lot looks like eagle abrassive are really good going to order these for next project. Just need to make sure i have the right proccess and grits using the 6" DA

1= Eagle 1000 grit 6" dry yellow disc (p# 778-1000)
2=Eagle 1500 grit 6" dry yellow disc (p# 778-1500)
3=Eagle buflex 2500 grit 6" wet green disc (p# 192-1502) or 3000 grit 6" wet foam disc by 3M ?
4= 3M 5000 grit 6" trizact 1/8 foam disc ( p# 30662).

Do all these dics work with the 3M interface foam pad p#5777???

Follow by 3M perfect -it with the right pads is what i use already. I use to wet sand by hand and the first time i use the DA was with 1500 purple discs (not the foam ones) and you know the rest fu***ng pig tail and it was a black car i had to to back with 1500 and 2000 wet by hand to get it right with a lot of buffing time.

yeah those purple discs SUUUUUUUUck. impossible to use. your #s on the yellow discs look right. they dont make 6" bufflex geen for wet anymore. get the green dry discs and use them wet. for the next set you can go with bufflex black discs or the 3m trizact 5000. either one works. trizact 5000 lasts much longer but cost an arm and a leg. bufflex is cheaper. lasts about 1 disc per panel for black and maybe 2-3 discs for whole car with the green. everything works with the 3m soft interface pads

I have read a lot today and you know your stuff you sold me on the eagle abrassives gonna try them for sure..1000,1500 then 2500 green dry and use it wet or 3m 3000 foam trizact go easy slow to med speed or can i jump from 1500 dry to 5000 trizact?
Most collision or regular jobs i be ok with 2500 or 3000 and buff from there,, BUT i find out the hard way 1500 purple dics they suck i had to do it all over again lol,,,5000 trizact i can get a box and use it for high end jobs only..

you need that 2500/3000 step. dont jump to 5000. dont bother with 3000 trizact. those are terrible and you will need a whole box to do a car. the 5000 ones are really good. dont ask me why. the 5000 ones are totally different and last forever. use green bufflex instead of the 3000 trizact.
