All that needs to happen with the base coat is the solvents need to flash out. Keep the temps up for an hour or so after spraying base, then you can shut heater off. Just make sure that the temps are back into the 70's before clear for several hours. I often will heat my shop in the winter up to 85 for a few hours before any 2K products are sprayed. The temps will drop with the fan running, but will come back up faster after the fan is off if there is some heat still in the floor and metal.
