Is there a decent kit out there that I can use to repair these cracks. I understand that its not going to be perfect, but itll hopefully be better than cracks!

I have seen on a couple other forums about guys using the Polyvance vinyl repair, then using a texture spray or something other vinyl to press on it to duplicate texture.
If the owner doesn’t mind spending more money, there is a company that restores those dashes for about $900. I think the lead time is down to a few weeks now. I had mine done, they come out great.

I do not know about your dash, but I hope I am not going to buy any more new C3 Corvette dashes since they are now $300+. I bought some marine vinyl and spray adhesive and just recovered one. It came out pretty good. Still working on technique. You need to patch or fill the old dash crack with something like fiberglass or spray foam? and make sure it is smooth. You can get marine vinyl fabric (like what they cover boat seats with) from an outfit in Mn for like 8 or 9$/yard and it comes I think in 54" wide. I bought black and plan to do some more. Exact red match might be challenge though. Might be a fix for you and cheap enough to worth a shot. Hope this might help.

The problem with those dashes is that being 45 years old the foam is all dried out and the vinyl is petrified. You will put all the time and effort just to have it crack again 2 inches away from the repair. Any repair should be considered temporary.
I have seen a couple of the caps installed as suggested above, if the curled, cracked areas are trimmed and everything is smooth they actually can look ok.

I'm in the same boat. I have two dash pads for my '68 GTX and the foam is hard and broken, plus the vinyl is very brittle. Cracks and breaks with very little pressure applied.

Replacements are in the $300 range.

If the car is worth it you can call Just Dashes. They aren’t cheap but it’s basically a new dash

Aint my car.....its worth absolutely zero to me!

The owner wants me to repair it and I don't mind as long as I know of a good process and product.
