Cut and buff

My plan was to cut using 800/1200/1500. What pads do I need?? Also which compound (s) ?? Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

Stopping at 1500 is going to make it hard to buff, I would go to at least 2500.

I like Jescar Correcting Compound with a wool pad on a rotary buffer, then a foam pad and medium polish/swirl remover, then finish with an orbital and a finishing polish.
