Candy Tangerine alternative..

Looking for a candy tangerine (RM- Carizzma line to be specific, candy e-z line) alternative in just a bc/cc. Sort of like the "red jewels" in the gm's are close to a candy apple red / brandywine.

Doing a job, 71 charger all over and would love to get away from the candy. Just isn't a job where candy is ideal. The owner likes the direction of the candy tangerine......just a little too extravagant. Looking for something a little more toned down.

thanks!

"Bright Orange Metallic" urethane by Kirker

This is a color with larger metallic than avg and used for a base under candy
colors, the mfg suggests it to be clear coated if not covered with candy.
That's what I did, used SPI Universal over it.
The first picture is 5 yrs after painting.DSC03436.jpg

Sunset Pearlescent, 2011 Mitsubishi Eclipse.

The color we put on my son's chevy II when we originally did it back in 07 was a Mitsubishi eclipse color. Did it in ppg/spi ms clear. That color has a ton of the starfire vibrance pearl and really had look of a 3-stage. There was a side shot of chevy II in the back of the old spi tech. manual. I was thumbing through a r-m carizzma book a few weeks ago looking for a bright orange sherbert with some pearl don't recall seeing any tangerine colors but maybe there is. Joe
