burnt orange

You could use spi red epoxy as a sealer and if you have another color of spi epoxy either white or grey you could mix them together to lighten the red to get closer to the color you are spraying and the coverage will be a whole lot faster. Depending on which paint manuf. you are using you could also reduce the amount of reducer you put in to make it slightly thicker and that can also help with coverage on the first and second coats then reduce normally you would just want to wait a little longer between coats as the dry times will increase also. I would use the first suggestion before the second if I had a choice but both will help.

spi orange for a base color .covers well. then burnt orange over it.
