Besides gun lube, next best for needle bushing area?

I read white lithium which i have plenty of. Use it? I figure rub a smidge so it slides happy.
Just my cheap $60 auto part store gun 1.4 tip but works great if ya don't mind wetsanding.
I'd only lube end that won't enter fluid area.

Mineral oil works well. I've used it at work for years with no problems. Just a touch on the threads and needle where it slides against the gun body.

Thankyou. I have 1/2 qt left from helping my old r22 ac condenser/compressor survive before changing system to 410.
I figured thicker = better but honestly i worry using any lube. Oil's not my friend on paint day.

Like I said I've used it for years. Just be careful to apply it very sparingly and get it anywhere but where it needs to be. After you reassemble your gun wash it down with some thinner or reducer and then run some reducer through it. I've never had an issue doing it like that.
