Bedliner to coat entire bottom of floor or......

Arrowhead

Oldtimer
So I got a gallon of SPI bedliner (one on the last gallons to be shipped :sorrow: ) to undercoat the underside of a '69 Cutlass I'm working on. Also have black epoxy to spray on the sandblasted old metal and new floor pans that I put in. The owner is on board with the bedliner on the entire underside, but I know there's a stigma with heavy undercoat everywhere - your hiding something. So now I'm wondering maybe replicate what the factory did (kind of) and epoxy everything two coats and then use the bedliner for the rock chip prone areas in the rear wheel houses and just some areas on the floor pans directly behind the front and rear tires. Has anyone ever done it his way? Were you happy with the results?

Just take pictures of everything before painting so you have proof it all looked okay for any future buyer.
If they are still worried or complain then maybe they're not the buyer you're looking to sell to anyway.

I got 1g and was able to do the underside, wheel wells, and interior on my vette....but I used the Vapor 2.3.

Everyone said the Vapor 2.3 couldn't spray it.... I did it anyway and thought it came out way better than trying to use the GEO gun. Not sure how long it'll hold up but so far I like it so...

You can cut it with reducer as well to thin it down more factory like
