heating oil is just red no 2 diesel fuel. yes you can, but it will just be closer to diesel fuel. years ago guys would put a little kerosene in fuel tank to combat gelling in trucks.Wonder if you can mix home heating oil and 1K to run in the torpedo heater? 1K around here is outragest !

I’ve done 4 gallons diesel/1 gallon gas many times. I know some people that do 3/2.

What tunes them? Do they have something to adjust fuel, rich - lean? I haven't been into the one I have in years, I thought they had a nozzle like an oil burner. Don't remember.You can also tune them to burn much more efficiently. Some of them are pretty far off from the factory. Imagine that.
The pump on the rear is adjustable. Some have a pressure gauge built in some you can hook one up. You can essentially lean or richen it by adjusting the psi.What tunes them?
