Another epoxy question

I need some advice.I sprayed epoxy on my corvette about a year ago and blocked my way up to 320 then stopped.Body looks pretty straight. I am only using epoxy no 2k. What's my next step? Can I spray more epoxy on top of the 320 or should I be sanding again since its been sitting so long before I spray more epoxy? I then plan to wetsand with 600 before applying epoxy sealer? What's the best way? I'm a good sander but not so good at spraying. If it matters I'm spraying Spi ss black.

Since I have no red scotch brite and would like to keep working on it tomorrow could I just freshen it up with 400 or is that to fine a grit for the epoxy to bite. Thanks for the help texasking.

400 will be fine, but before I sanded it I would still clean it thoroughly so that any contamination won't get "pushed" into the surface.

If you sand with 600 wet and do get burn throughs . .you don't need a sealer. The epoxy is the best sealer there is. After 600 . .paint it.
