Aluminum Bellhousing - Transmission

I am approaching the stage when I can start painting some items on my Mustang - My plan is to do the motor - trans - bellhousing & rear end in Ford Sterling Gray. My question is, for the aluminum bellhousing and transmission - epoxy primer will work? Any advise besides the usual prep? Thanks.

Yes epoxy is a must at least for me normal prep as far as sanding etc clean really good with waterborne and remember aluminum oxidizes faster than steel so cover it quickly
